Since August 1, Eng. Thomas W. Hoehle supports Valicare customers as Senior Consultant with his extensive experience and expertise in the field of Computerized System Validation (CSV).
Valicare is pleased to welcome a new member to the CSV consulting team: Thomas W. Hoehle has been working as a Senior CSV Consultant at the Frankfurt office since August 1, 2024. In addition to the actual validation of computerized systems, he also consults customers on the validation of their supporting business and production processes. “With his know-how and many years of expertise, Mr. Hoehle is the ideal addition to our team,” says Dr. Hans-Georg Eckert, Head of the Valicare site in Frankfurt am Main.
From IT to the life science industry
After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from TU Darmstadt, Thomas Hoehle initially worked in IT and software testing for around 13 years before moving to the life science industry. “This is where I got to know CSV from scratch and gained valuable experience with large pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies as well as medium-sized companies from the medical device industry,” he explains.
Thomas Hoehle has long since mastered the entire CSV repertoire according to GAMP® 5 in the 2nd edition and is a long-standing CSV auditor regarding ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 27001. He also has extensive knowledge in both quality assurance and documentation of specifications and verifications and holds certifications as an ISTQB test manager and analyst.
“The perfect match”
But this is by no means all: during his time as an independent consultant, Thomas Hoehle developed a training program that is now being rolled out under the name CSV Academy. Employees of Valicare and its parent company Syntegon, as well as their customers, can select video sessions on specific areas of CSV on a modular basis and acquire certificates, for example in CSV auditing. A series of webinars is also planned.
